“By time, indeed mankind is in loss, except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds, and advised each other to truth and patience.” – (Qur’an 103:1-3)
Today, be intentional with your time. Treat it as a divine gift and evaluate how you spend your hours. Identify one activity that drains your time without benefit and replace it with something purposeful—increased remembrance of God, reading Quran, or helping someone in need.
Reflect on this:
How does being mindful of time change your day? In general, what does it mean to have moments which bring you closer to God? More specifically, what does it mean to you?
Tips for Success:
“Not a word does one utter except that there is an observer prepared [to record it].” – (Qur’an 50:18)
Today, make a conscious effort to guard your tongue. Avoid gossip, backbiting, and unnecessary speech. Instead, focus on speaking words of truth, encouragement, and remembrance of God. Monitor your heart—what emotions drive your words?
Reflect on this:
Are there moments when you want to say something but you hold back? Can you identify moments when you said something and you realized you should’ve held back, but didn’t? How could guarding your tongue change your interactions and mindset? Write down your reflections.
